当然，勒庞的这一套分析理论正确与否，得由时间来检验。不过，值得指出的是，具有极端精英意识的他，最后在书中深刻反思自己所生活的社会，也不得不承认，现在已经是群体社会来临的时代，也就是说，上世纪三四十年代的社会主导力量已变成一个群体，作为精英一分子的他，深深感觉到了无可奈何花落去的心境，已经无法轻易左右这个“群体”社会了。
